Bosch awarded the prize to TNT for its performance regarding quality of service, reliability and pricing. Other criteria were communication, cooperation and readiness for continuous improvement. The globally operating Bosch Group’s prize was awarded to the whole TNT Express division.
TNT had already won the supplier prize, which is awarded every two years, in 2005. Now, Bosch is rewarding the express service provider for its cooperation during the past two years.
John Willems, Global Account Director TNT Express and Dieter Schwaderer, Senior General Manager Coordination & Projects TNT Express Germany, accepted the prize during a function at the State Gallery in Stuttgart on 4th July 2007.
TNT Express’s uncompromising focus on its customers’ needs and requirements has been impartially certified before: at the beginning of 2007, TNT Express won the European Business Award in the ‘Customer Focus’ category. The renowned prize is supported by a number of well-known organisations from all over Europe – including the Wall Street Journal Europe, Siemens, Grey EMEA, Société Générale, AXA and CMS, an alliance of major European law firms. TNT Express was named ‘most customer focused business in Europe’ because, according to the jury, it ‘sets an example in focusing on the customer as the centre of its business activities and on making exceptionally efficient use of resources in order to fulfil its customers’ needs.’
Bosch is awarding the prize that is offered to suppliers across the globe, for the eleventh time since 1987. The prize is awarded every two years. This year, it was awarded in five categories to a total of 47 companies from 14 countries.

The purpose of the smartmovesTM program is to connect businesses with Canadian consumers who are moving. Businesses and movers can communicate via the Internet and a magazine mailed to new movers. Canada Post sells advertising in these channels to provide businesses with an opportunity to reach new movers while strictly maintaining their anonymity. New movers receive useful information and tips in the smartmovesTM magazine as well as great offers on products and services they may need when moving. Canada Post does not release mover data to businesses at any time.
Canada Post’s multichannel smartmovesTM program provides unrivalled access to one of the most lucrative and motivated segments of buyers in the country: people who are moving. In 2006, more than 1.1 million households and businesses notified Canada Post of a change of address. The smartmovesTM program provides a communication channel for businesses and organizations to connect with this audience using banner ads on the www.smartmoves.ca web portal, consumer directed data updates, page advertising in the smartmovesTM magazine, “A Guide to Your New Home”, or by providing outserts that are delivered with the smartmovesTM magazine.
