Emirates SkyCargo Priority

Middle East-based carrier Emirates SkyCargo offers two premium service options under the
Emirates Express label launched in 1999. The first is Emirates Priority Plus which caters for time-sensitive and urgent consignments of up to 100 kilos. Cargo space for shipments using that service can be booked as late as six hours prior to flight departure. The service also offers late acceptance and the carrier’s highest loading priority. The carriers second express service is Emirates Priority.

Cathays three-tier express products

Late last year, Hong Kong-based carrier Cathay Pacific Airways and locally-based company RPX launched a three-tier range of retail express parcel products under the RPX brand name.
The top tier service is a 24-hour a day operation, RPX Platinum, which is targeted at mission-critical international shipments such as vital documents, commercial prototypes and electronic parts.

Dutch delight at Triangle awards

DUTCH FLAG-CARRIER KLM was named Airmail Carrier of the Year for the second time running at Triangle Management Services’ 12th World Mail & Express conference in London in May.
The award has been designed to encourage best practice in the areas of customer service, innovation and overall performance.
KLM’s payload availability and problem-solving ability were particularly commended by postal operators.
