No approval for TPG’s figures
Auditor PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) has refused to endorse the 2003 annual report of TNT Post Group (TPG) because the company has been unable to reach an agreement with the British taxman on an outstanding claim. According to TPG’s CEO Peter Bakker, the investigation into the claim, which dates back to the late nineties and could cost the company up to Eur40m.

A respected national opinion survey has cited UPS for building one of the top corporate reputations in America.
The new survey ranked UPS second overall for corporate reputation among the 60 most visible companies in the United States. Conducted annually by Harris Interactive and the Reputation Institute, the 2003 survey was released Thursday 19th February.

Federal Express Corp is considering keeping its regional hub at the Subic Bay Freeport Zone in Zambales until 2013, and may yet abandon a previous plan to move possibly to China when its lease contract expires in 2007.
This was learned from the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA), which had claimed to have convinced FedEx – the world’s biggest freight company – to retain its Asia-Pacific hub at Subic, which had improved its facilities and services.
