Nacex – 2007 First Quarter results

Nacex delivered 3,7 million of mails during the first quarter of 2007. This represents a rise of 21.5 pct respect to 2006.

During the first quarter, Nacex increased its network to 302 offices present in Spain, Andorra and Portugal).

The company has 1,230 vehicles and 2,200 employees.

City Link's Strategic Sales team won the "International Sales Change Management Award" at the National Sales Awards

Award winning courier company, City Link, has been decorated with yet another accolade, this time acknowledging its best practice approach to change management.

The team at City Link received the ‘International Sales Change Management Award’ at the National Sales Awards this month in recognition of the City Link Strategic Sales team’s success during a period of significant change for the company which included the centralization of the sales function and the company’s franchise buy-back.

Linehaul UK Ltd joins the Fortec team

Linehaul UK Ltd started operation in 2001 and joined Fortec in January 2007 and is responsible for palletized collection and delivery in the RH and TN area postcodes

Tan moving up at DHL Express

Dennis Tan, chief financial officer of DHL Express Singapore, has been appointed senior vice-president and head of global express controlling at DHL Express.

He will report to Oliver Gritz, CFO of DHL Express, and his areas of responsibility include financial reporting and planning, costing and transfer pricing, IT controlling as well as the newly created positions for marketing and sales controlling and ground operations controlling.

Tan has been instrumental in managing and leading various key projects such as the integration of financial reporting systems in the region, as well as the implementation of the new regional business planning software.
