TDG has won a three-year multimillion pound contract to handle c-fulfilment for television home shopping channel Home Shopping Europe. HSE will use
50,000 sq ft of TDG’s 450,000 sq ft e-fulfilment centre at Wrexham, which includes a secure area for high value products. £200,000 has been invested to support c-fulfilment services at the site which will see an additional 45 jobs dedicated to the HSE contract.
Consignia, the state-owned group that runs the Royal Mail, has a unique status and range of responsibilities. Mr Roberts’ disclosure this week that it may cut 30,000 jobs in an effort to regain financial stability has put both into the public spotlight.
