EU clears UK to set up Post Office bank for benefit payments

Inserts volume increases

The latest figures from the DMA Inserts Council show that although 2001 saw a slight decrease during July and August compared to 2000, there has been a considerable improvement in September. There has also been a slight increase in inserts volume in the third quarer.

Divide over e-Billing

According to a recent survey from Pitney Bowes Document Messaging Thchnologies, 37% of respondents believed consumers are less likely to pay electronic bills on time, while 21% thought consumers are more likely to pay electronic bills quicker. Thirty-nine per cent saw no difference in payment times between postal and electronic billing.
