Nightspeed makes light work of Philips contract
UK SECURE EXPRESS parcels carrier Nightspeed Services has won contracts worth around £600,000 a year to handle overnight deliveries for a range of Philips’ businesses.

La Poste has two years to develop its network, says GeoPost executives
FRENCH POSTAL organisation La Poste and parcels subsidiary GeoPost have no more than two years in which to complete the development of their European express/parcels network.
That, at least, was the view expressed by Claude Begle, GeoPost general manager, at the recent 12th World Mail & Express Conference.
La Poste has no plans to withdraw from rural areas
French post office La Poste has confirmed that “it is not planning any scenario to withdraw” from rural areas.

The president of the Association of Mayors of France (AMF) has sent a letter to the Prime Minister to protest the temporary closure of several tens of La Poste’s offices and postal agencies, particularly in rural areas. The AMF says that La Poste is not fulfilling its postal public service assignment.
