K&N has completed a USD300m acquisition of USCO, a leading logistics supplier in the US. This gives K&N access to the US market in addition to access to the Asia/Pacific market which came from its alliance with SembCorp Logistics of Singapore. K&N clearly intends to be a global company and expand into the value-added logistics area.

The company said its gross profit increased 10.2% in the first three months of the year to 373 million Swiss francs (about $220 million). Revenue jumped 12.2% in the period to about $1.2 billion.
