Read MoreMelton Mowbray-based transport hub United Pallet Network has reported a “strong” financial performance, making an operating profit of £328,675 for the year ended March 31, 2005.
UPN’s unaudited accounts also state this figure as pre-tax profit. Turnover was £1.98m.
TOOLES Transport, based in Droitwich, has launched a new express delivery service for small consignments of goods to mainland Europe.
As a member of the Palletways distribution network, which has more than 100 depots in the UK, the company will now be able to distribute small consignments more cost effectively and faster than before to a vast European marketplace, inclu-ding Belgium, The Nether-lands, Luxemborg, Denmark, France and Germany.
This development has been made possible by Palletways fully integrating its UK network with the company’s operations in mainland Europe by linking up the IT systems across all the countries it serves.
