WE DON’T WANT TO LOSE LOTREX, SAYS PALLETLINE
Palletline feels confident enough to announce Lotrex as its partner for distribution in France.
The firms have been working together for several months but Palletline wanted to be certain that the two networks are close enough in their views on customer service for long- term future before going public.
A lot of French transport firms appear to have the attitude that delivery can wait until they have a truck going near the delivery point, says Palletline chairman Bob Russet. His network was looking for better than that and appears to have found it with Lotrex.

Pallet-Track, the network some said would never happen, starts its hub operation on friday with complete UK coverage from 50 shareholder members.
And theres a shock coming to rivals- around a dozen members are joining from other networks, including Fortec and Uk Pallets, says Nigel Parkes.
Pallnet shuts ‘temporarily’
With only a few operational weeks under its belt, the pallet company has shut its doors for a radical restructure.

National Courier Network md Micke McCormick confirmed on Tuesday that he has signed up a dozen members from Hellmann Overnight, which collapsed just before Christmas. NCN recruits include YDS based in Yorkshire and Mainland Express of Northampton.
