DHL brings innovation to European road freight market with launch of DHL EUROPLUS

DHL has introduced real innovation to the European road express market with the launch of DHL EUROPLUS. This product will bring new levels of service and choice to the market, with door-to-door, day-definite delivery of parcels and pallets across Europe.

The service, which encompasses the delivery of single parcels, multi-parcels and pallets, covers more than 20 European countries and territories and includes a range of features which enable customers to choose the most convenient way to ship their parcels and pallets.

DHL EUROPLUS provides the highest level of visibility for customers in the marketplace. Via track and trace technology, customers can receive up to five separate scans which pinpoint exactly where their shipment is after despatch.

Norway Post buys a stake in OptiMail

With its purchase of 7% of Optimail, Norway Post has extended its stake in the swedish mail market. It is already a part owner of CityMail Sweden. Citimail owns 11.7% of Optimail and the two private mail companies operations are linked: Optimail sorts international and domestic mail for distribution by CityMail while Optimails SwedMail business handles mail in the Swedish markets.
