The Swiss Post made a net profit for the year 2000 of CHF 6.022 billion. This represented a slight increase of 5.6% over the previous financial year. However operating expenses were up too. With a profit of CHF 118 million, the Swiss Post was able to present positive business results for each its three years as an independent operation
