TNT Logistics wins warehousing contract for Rabofacet

TNT Logistics Benelux and Rabofacet BV, part of the Rabobank Group, have signed a five-year contract under which Rabofacet will outsource to TNT Logistics its warehousing operations in Best, the Netherlands.

Starting 1st September 2003, TNT Logistics Benelux will be responsible for inbound, storage and outbound activities at its existing multi-user site in Eindhoven. The activities include supplying printed matter and consumables to parts of the Rabobank Group. Rabofacet currently carries out these activities under its own management. The contract provides for TNT Logistics Benelux to put the dedicated Rabofacet employees on its payroll.

TPG wins EUR 113 million NHS Logistics contract in UK

Mail, express and logistics company TPG N.V., has announced today that it has, through its TNT Logistics division, successfully won a five-year EUR 113 million contract to distribute healthcare supplies for the English National Health Service on behalf of the NHS Logistics Authority. TNT Logistics has worked in partnership with NHS Logistics for the last five years. The UK business unit of TNT Logistics will continue to operate a dedicated vehicle fleet from NHS Logistics’ seven distribution centres. The contract employs over 300 people and 200 vehicles are operated throughout England.

TNT Logistics contract win

Electrical wholesaler Hagemeyer has awarded a five-year UK distribution contract to TNT Logistics. The contract, worth more than GBP10m (Eur14m) a year, involves deliveries to more than 200 outlets servicing Hagemeyer’s operating companies, including Newey & Eyre, WF Electrical, Barron, A&A Security and Parker Merchanting.
