Exel, has just helped Kellogg’s develop and open a major new warehouse – the latest step in Kellogg’s strategy to achieve logistics excellence for its customers and suppliers now and well into the future. The new 300,000 sq ft facility, in Trafford Park near Manchester, has just become fully operational after an intensive nine-month project that Kellogg’s says could not have gone better.

An internal memo outlined the express carrier’s plans to outsource as many as 350 jobs in the United Kingdom, while jobs at its Basel, Switzerland operation will also be affected, according to a report by British-based ComputerWeekly.com. DHL operates two British datacenters that handle application development, and application and operations support. DHL has 700 IT employees in the U.K., the publication reported.
