It likes the cash they raise, prefers private sector management and is only
too happy to take future investment off the books of the Exchequer.
Auologic to acquire,40%of CAT from Renault in consortium with Wallenius Lines and TNT with Renault retaining a 20% stake – cost £47.6m. Also to buy substantially all of Axial from Tibbett & Britten for £74.5m – £59.5m in cash balnce in new Autologic shares. To be financed by Rights Issue of 1 for 2 at £4/share to raise £51m.
