In a filing with the Postal Rate Commission, the Postal Service is seeking approval of the Flat-Rate Box proposal, which if approved, will reinforce the Postal Service’s commitment to meeting customers’ needs for simplicity and convenience when sending packages.

USA FedEx gets USPS international express business

The U.S. Postal Service have announced that FedEx Express, will on July 1 take over the delivery of its overseas Global Express Guaranteed packages from DHL Worldwide Express.

“About 7,400 Postal Service locations will offer the new co-branded service. As demand for this product grows, so will the number of Postal Service access points,” the USPS said.

USPS and Estafeta USA sign licensing agreement

The United States Postal Service have announced the signing of a licensing agreement with Estafeta USA Inc., a leading private courier company in Mexico, which allows the company limited usage of the U.S. Postal Service logo.

Estafeta USA Inc. links to the U.S. Postal Service domestic delivery network by clearing inbound packages originating in Mexico through U.S. Customs, transporting them into the United States, and tendering them to the U.S. Postal Service at the McAllen, Texas post office as domestic Priority Mail.
