Exel, the world leader in supply chain management,
announced today that it has recently acquired 100% of All Cargo Logistics (”
ACL”), a leading Austrian air freight forwarder. It is expected that the
acquisition will be earnings enhancing, before goodwill amortisation, in 2002.
Audited net assets at 31st December 2000 were #0.4m.
German Parcel, the German subsidiary of UK postal operator Consignia, and the national partner businesses in the General Parcel group will deliver parcels from the US to Europe with immediate effect following an agreement between Consignia and the United States Postal Service (USPS).
