LYNX in Sunday Times profit Fast Track top 100
LYNX Express has been confirmed by the Sunday Times Profit Track 100 as one of the fastest growing companies in the UK in terms of profitability measured over a rolling three years.
The LYNX success was listed in a special 16 page Profit Track 100 supplement in the Sunday Times (April 4th, 2004).
This latest news in the LYNX success story caps an excellent period for the company which was named the UK’s most reliable parcels carrier last year by a leading independent research company in the transport sector.
LYNX is today one of the largest independent parcels companies in the UK and is active internationally as a member of the Global Distribution Alliance (GDA) and EuroExpress consortium of which David Burtenshaw, LYNX’s Chief Executive, is Chairman.
Commenting on the news that LYNX has featured strongly in Sunday Times Profit Track 100 research initiative, he said:
‘This is exciting news for our employees who have worked very hard to not only maintain but improve the company’s business performance.
‘LYNX has come a long way in the past decade to confirm its position as probably the UK’s largest independent parcels carrier and as research has confirmed, the most reliable.
‘Our expansion in Europe as well as our consistent growth in our key UK markets have undoubtedly been integral factors that have fuelled our development as a business to become the top profit growth organisation locally and in the top 10 in the Midlands’.
