LYNX Express short-listed in IFW 2004 awards – ‘Express Operator of the Year’
LYNX Express has once again made the short-list in the IFW (International Freighting Weekly) Awards in the ‘International Express Operator of the Year’ category in recognition of its achievement in 2004.
LYNX won the International Express Operator of the Year Award in 2002.
Nick Basford, International Director of LYNX Express commented: “We are absolutely delighted to be in with a real chance of lifting the IFW International Express Operator of the Year Award once again this year.
“The competition, as always, is very tough but our entry is particularly strong on this occasion as we have experienced excellent growth levels in our international business over the past 12 to 18 months,” he said.
“Our expansion on mainland Europe, developing real value-added delivery solutions for customers and high standards of service have been recognized. In 2004 we are particularly pleased with progress in the air express sector and our role in helping to form the new Global Distribution Alliance network (GDA).”
The Finals of the IFW Awards take place at Old Billingsgate Market, London on June 22nd 2004.
