Deutsche Post World Net observes opening of French postal market

Deutsche Post World Net, the German-based postal services and logistics group, is reported to be observing the opening up of the French postal market, but is said to have doubts regarding the full deregulation of that market next year.

The German group, which acquired the US-based parcel forwarding company DHL in 2002, showed turnover of 40bn euros last year. It is currently planning to develop its parcel forwarding activities in Asia.
