UK Target set to attack pallets

Target Express this week re-launched its UK-wide palletised distribution service, with guaranteed delivery pre-9am, pre-10am and pre-noon.
Pallets will be trunked on the lower deck of double-deck trailers, with parcels carried on the upper deck in roll-cages. Target says it already moves more than 500,000 pallets a year annually and needed to re-position itself to attract more customers using it for parcels. Pricing is based on four geographical zones, with no complcated add-ons or surcharges. Insurance is offered at £5 a kg.
