Call&Check launch new service to help community during lockdown

Call&Check  – a service developed by Jersey Post which traditionally offers a regular visit to members of the community who would benefit from a bit of extra help – is now offering a free ‘Lite’ service, to support the community during the COVID-19 epidemic.

The service is open to all islanders and anyone can contact Call &Check to register themselves, or anyone they care for, into the service during the lockdown period.

Once registered, a member of the Call&Check team will be in contact on agreed days twice a week (by phone) to check on their wellbeing and if they require further support.

This service runs alongside the government’s Connect Me service in providing support during this time.
