BTB Mailflight Acquires Mailflow International Ltd

Ian Kavanagh, Managing Director of BTB Mailflight Ltd was today delighted to announce BTB Mailflight’s acquisition of Mailflow International Ltd.

BTB Mailflight Ltd, one of the UK’s leading international mailing houses has acquired Mailflow International to help the company accelerate towards their growth objectives.

Ian Kavanagh commented “Adding Mailflow to the BTB Mailflight Group increases our market share in the international mail arena and will further increase our buying power. This puts us in an even better position to continue to offer some of the most cost effective international mailing solutions available”.

Since 1989 Mailflow have operated from a purpose built site at London’s Heathrow Airport and is actively engaged in all forms of fulfilment and distribution, both in the UK and more extensively internationally. Ian Kavanagh continued “Mailflow is a great strategic fit for us. Like BTB Mailflight, Mailflow is also a long-established family run business with a culture that puts client service as a priority.

This is an exciting time for BTB Mailflight and we are taking several steps to accommodate our growing client base, this includes building additional office space, doubling the size of our response centre, and setting up a dedicated pick and pack operation where our daily order fulfilment now takes place. We will also be adding further mail production machinery to our plant list and increasing the number of production shifts that we work.

To complement our growing client base we have already recruited additional Client Services personnel. This has mainly been achieved through promoting internally as existing staff already have significant knowledge of our business, and this gives them the opportunity to progress their careers with us”.
