Nacex Opens Delivery Offices in Molina de Segura, Madrid
Molina de Segura, southeastern Murcia region, and three in Madrid, the company said on July 8, 2004.
The opening of the offices was part of the previously announced network expansion of Nacex. The company said that would open a total eight delivery offices in Spain by the end of 2004, mainly in Madrid and the eastern Levante zone.
After the opening of the new offices, Nacex (www.nacex.es) has a network of 40 offices in the Madrid region and seven in the Murcia region. Nacex has recently opened a logistics platform in the Murcia region, with a capacity to handle and classify 400,000 parcels annually.
The company, founded in 1995, has a total 260 delivery offices and 15 logistics platforms in Spain, Andorra and Portugal.
Grupo Logista (www.logista.es), which offers all kinds of logistics services, posted a 14.4 mln euro ($17.8 mln) net consolidated profit for the first quarter of 2004, down from 17.3 mln euro ($21.4 mln) for the same period of 2003. Consolidated net sales of the group totalled 994.8 mln euro ($1.229 mln) for January to March 2004, a 5.7 pct year-on-year increase.
