PalletForce’s Scot’s team

PalletForce unveils its new Scotland. Existing members Wm Armstrong and Glenhire Express are joined by North of Scotland specialist JBT which has never been in a network before, and Paisley based Gordon Leslie Distribution, which has joined from Fortec. PalletForce Chief Executive Mick scarlett says: Our presence in Scotland has not been as strong as the rest of the UK. This is a major development which will create tremendous opportunities for the network.” Network development director Bob Delaney says: “We are attracting so many good strong companies at the moment who want to be a part of a shareholder network so they can have their say. You could fill an issue of Motor Transport, we’ve got so much going on – but I can’t tell you any more at the moment.” Volumes are getting back on track after a sluggish start to the year. “I don’t think the sector will see the predicted growth, but we are still on target,” he says. “I think things may pick up after the election because the last quiet period like this I experienced was at Palletways before the last election.”
