Courier firm set for operational excellence in Nigeria

In its bid to the fastest and most reliable provider of express mail and logistics in the country, TNT/IAS has moved its mail operations to the mainland.

Head, Corporate Affairs of the company, Mr. Ifeanyi Nihe, said the decision to make some operational changes was aimed at improving its services, “TNT/IAS has always been a leading company to reckon with in terms of services, It is on record that the company is the first Nigerian company to fly cargo as express, first to establish an express training school, first to introduce overnight land shuttle delivery service’s to Lagos Island, Enugu and Abuja, just to mention a few”.

While emphazising the company’s intention to maintain its services in order to serve its customers better, Nihe said the company has opened new offices in Ibadan, Lokoja and Yenagoa while plans have been concluded to acquire new motorcycles for its courier services, a move which will ensure operational excellence.

On the just concluded in- house training, Nihe said the company has through this means introduced an intensive human capital development project geared towards the overall welafare of staff members and development to courier business in Nigeria.

“This company has planned to extend the training to other courier companies and individuals wishing to understand the operations of the courier sector. This would make the company take its rightful position in the industry”, Nihe concluded.
