InPost commits to “significantly reducing energy consumption”

InPost has deployed its 13,000th automated parcel machine (APM) in Poland. The milestone was reached in the city of Sopot, where the Company also delivered its first renewable energy solution for APMs, utilizing photovoltaic panels.

This follows InPost’s recent announcements related to its “Green City” program aimed at the largest cities in Poland, focusing on a wide range of innovative and environmental initiatives.

Since the program was announced, the Company has signed agreements with the cities of Łódź, Kraków, Kielce, Zielona Góra, Częstochowa and Wałbrzych.

With our first renewable energy solution for APMs – an industry first in Poland – we will be able to significantly reduce our energy consumption, simplify our network deployment, while further enhancing our value proposition to all our stakeholders.”
