5 Bulgarian banks to open desks in Post Offices
Five Bulgarian banks will open desks in the post offices under an agreement with the Bulgarian Posts they signed on March 1, 2006.
The five banks are DSK Bank, Investbank, Corporate Commercial Bank, Economic Investment Bank and Allianz Commercial Bank.
The five banks were offered same terms of operation in the 1,200 post offices across the country. The Bulgarian Posts will get half of the commission fees for the banking operations.
The actual opening of the bank desks will take place after April 2006. Only one bank will be allowed to operate in each postal office. The bank desks will offer the full range of bank services.
The Bulgarian Posts will sign in a month similar agreements with the insurance partners of the five banks.
