Key appointment for Isle of Man Post Office

John Brooks joins Isle of Man Post Office (IOMPO) as Head of Logistics at a critical turning point in its  transformation from a predominantly letter-based business to a responsible parcel delivery one.

Having worked in a senior management level in the supply chain and logistics industry in both Europe and North America for more than a decade, John brings a vast wealth of experience across a variety of sectors from food, apparel and consumer goods to his new Island role.

On joining IOMPO John said: “I am thrilled to be a part of the team at Isle of Man Post Office and add my voice to the business’ efforts to grow as a parcel delivery business to meet the changing needs of our customers. The opportunity to relocate to the Isle of Man and be part of a final mile logistics business at a time when this sector is more important to everyday people is really exciting. We should not under estimate how more and more people are using ecommerce than ever before and how they send and receive their goods is important to them.”

Lisa Duckworth, Chief Operating Officer of IOMPO said: “I’m delighted to welcome John into our senior management team. He brings an extensive range of skills, experience and expertise to this role which I know the business will benefit immensely from. IOMPO has a clear mails strategy which takes us to 2025 which includes creating efficiencies by streamlining our operations, continuing to grow our parcels volumes and improving the experience we provide to our valued customers. John joining us at this time is a key component to our success in the delivery of this strategy.”
