A spokesperson for Deutsche Post said that a decision had not yet been taken on price reductions, but that an announcement could be expected in the coming weeks. The postal group is also planning to cut postage for larger parcels and offer improved services. The German association for postal services and telecommunications (DVPT) believes that Deutsche Post should offer insurance and tracking services for small parcels in the future, as is already the case with larger parcels.
