Bayer, Deutsche Post in document logistics agreement

Bayer Business Services and Deutsche Post have entered into a document logistics agreement covering invoice receipt processing. Bayer said the deal will strengthen its integrated services for finance and accounting. The framework agreement calls for Deutsche Post to provide international handling of services such as processing and scanning of incoming invoices, reading invoice data, reconciliation with master, order and goods receipt data, and physical archiving. The future volume of the collaboration is estimated at over a million documents per year. The pact enables Bayer to offer integrated invoicing services to customers anywhere in the world.
