Logistics post to increase postal revenue by rs100 crore (the department of posts will start a logistics post service from delhi and will expand existing services)

The Department of Posts (DP) has announced its plans to start a Logistics post service from Delhi. The service will operate from Delhi to Jaipur, Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Agra and the National Capital Region. It will focus on large consignments from clients in the corporate sector.

The service is expected to earn a revenue of Rs100 crore in the first year of operation. The DP’s existing Logistics post services in Mumbai and Tamil Nadu will also be expanded. The DP’s post and parcel service earns Rs1,000 crore a year now.
