SingPost: This recognition motivates us to continue pushing boundaries and setting new industry standards

Singapore Post Limited (SingPost), is proud to announce its recent wins at the prestigious World Post and Parcel Awards 2023 for Best Innovation Strategy (POPDrop) and Commitment to Sustainability (Carbon Efficient Ecosystem & Sustainable Packaging).

This accolade recognises SingPost’s unwavering commitment to continuous innovation and championing sustainability in the post and parcel industry.

Ms Neo Su Yin, Chief Executive Officer, Singapore, SingPost, said: “We are thrilled and honored to receive the esteemed World Post and Parcel Awards for Best Innovation Strategy and
Commitment to Sustainability. This award is a testament to our unwavering commitment to excellence, pursuit of innovation, and the tireless efforts of our dedicated team here in Singapore.
This recognition reaffirms our position as a leading postal and eCommerce logistics provider in Asia Pacific and motivates us to continue pushing boundaries and setting new industry standards. We are devoting resources to lead innovation and sustainability in the industry, towards a greener future for eCommerce.”

Building a End-to-end Carbon-Efficient Delivery Ecosystem
Leveraging its extensive postal network and infrastructure, SingPost looks to drive sustainability and encourage greener eCommerce in the industry. This is achieved through increasingly streamlining deliveries to POPStations and letterboxes, which are more convenient and secure, boosting its network of Pick Up and Drop Off (PUDO) points, innovating products such
as its POPDrop, POPStops and Tracked Letter Box products for greener first mile, last mile and returns options, as well as introducing eco-friendly packaging made from recycled materials that
are easily accessible island-wide at all post offices. Having converted more than 30% of its own delivery fleet in Singapore to electric vehicles as of March 2023, SingPost is also well on track to
fulfill our commitment to fully electrifying its owned delivery fleet by 2026. SingPost has also explored opportunities to redesign its delivery network for better route optimisation to further reduce
its fleet emissions.

POPDrop
POPDrop is an automated self-service drop-off box equipped with in-built trackability and RFID technology, enabling merchants to ship their packages with end-to-end tracking capabilities,
ensuring transparency and peace of mind for businesses and customers. With the POPDrop, customers have a more convenient, efficient, and flexible way to drop off their
parcels, enhancing the overall user experience.

POPStop
POPStops, now available at all post offices, are manned service centres dedicated to serving the eCommerce industry and consumers. Armed with know-how of eCommerce merchants’ delivery
requirements, POPStops help merchants with the shipping of items, as well as providing shipping and packing supplies all at one location. Complementing SingPost’s extensive and convenient
infrastructure network, POPStops provide the eCommerce industry and consumers with the most pervasive and accessible delivery solution in Singapore.

Gratitude
SingPost would like to express its gratitude to the esteemed panel of judges, industry partners, and, most importantly, its loyal customers for their continued support and trust. This achievement would not have been possible without their invaluable contributions.
SingPost has previously won World Post and Parcel Awards in 2017 for Retail Customer Access and in 2018 for Technology.
