Austrian Post agrees to a pay increase of 2.80 percent for all employees

The salary negotiations for the employees of Österreichische Post AG have been successfully concluded.

After several rounds of negotiations, the company’s management and the Postal and Telecommunications Employees’ Union (GPF) agreed on an increase of 2.80 percent for all employees, including apprentices of Österreichische Post AG, as of July 1, 2025.

In addition, the daily and overnight allowances and the mileage allowance for employees will be adjusted to the rates applicable to civil servants from 1 July 2025.

For employees who are subject to the new collective agreement, part 2, from 2009 and work in the field, the tax-free daily allowance will also be increased from the current EUR 26.16 to EUR 29.00 per calendar day from 1 January 2026.

These increases will apply until 30 June 2026, subject to the approval of the Supervisory Board of Österreichische Post AG and the Union of Postal and Telecommunications Employees.
