Austrian Post: enabling domestic SMEs to sell their products quickly and easily
Following the acquisition of a majority stake in euShipments.com, an e-commerce provider for fulfillment and cross-border services headquartered in Bulgaria, Österreichische Post AG is rapidly pushing ahead with the further expansion of its new subsidiary. On 1 July, euShipments.com’s new fulfilment location in Enzersdorf an der Fischa will start operations and will thus also offer its services directly and easily to Austrian small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
Peter Umundum, Deputy Director General, Member of the Management Board for Parcel & Logistics, Österreichische Post AG: “In record time, we brought euShipments.com’s first Austrian fulfillment location online. This means that we are now enabling domestic SMEs to sell their products quickly and easily in more than 27 European countries with one contract and via an interface. In this way, we are not only supporting Austrian online retailers in a very challenging time, but also enabling them to continue to grow.”
Through the integration, online retailers of Next Day Delivery throughout Austria will benefit from reliable, local partners as well as from euShipments.com’s fulfillment expertise and cross-border infrastructure for expansion in Europe.
With the new location in Enzersdorf an der Fischa, the network will be further expanded. A uniform technical integration, one contract and specialized customer support enable low-threshold access to a scalable logistics solution for international growth. The offer is particularly relevant for merchants on platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento and marketplaces such as Amazon, as sales channels can be seamlessly connected to central order processing.
The expansion comes in a strong growth phase for euShipments.com: in 2025, more than 16 million parcels were processed, most recently an average of more than two million shipments per month.
