FRANCE: PLANS IN PARCEL SECTOR FOR LA POSTE.

The French postal service, La Poste, is considering a way to ensure its
parcel services, and is considering reorganising its five main parcel
subsidiaries, to create a major distribution network. La Poste estimates
controlling the private parcel market by 95%, the business to private client
market by 65%, and the B2B market by 25%. The re-organisation could include
new special services, urgent parcel services, and night delivery services.
