KOREA, CHINA, JAPAN POST OFFICES DISCUSS TRIPARTITE COOPERATION
KoreaPost said Friday it held the second
high-level meeting with its Chinese and Japanese counterparts in Seoul
Friday to discuss the development of mail services and seek tripartite
cooperation.
The three sides agreed to take measures to improve their special delivery
services, like prompt tracking of mailed parcels, to compete with individual
special mail companies such as DHL.
KoreaPost decided to have working-level talks with China’s post office to
deal with a proposed “super” special delivery service between the two
nations.
The three nations will convene a third session next year in Beijing.
