Bahrain Post launches online postal tracking service

The service, named “Tracking of Postal Packages”, allows individuals, business, and government entities to easily track their letters and parcels online.

The service, named “Tracking of Postal Packages”, allows individuals, business, and government entities to easily track their letters and parcels online.

The new service is part of the range of services Bahrain Post will offer through the Bahraini eGovernment Authority (eGA) National Portal (www.bahrain.bh) and in line with Bahrain Post’s commitment to offering the best eServices to the citizens and residents of Bahrain, in line with the Kingdom’s strategies outlined in the Bahrain Vision 2030 initiative.

Sheikh Bader bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Assistant Undersecretary of Bahrain Post stressed the importance of this new service as it represents a paradigm shift in the way postal services are offered by allowing users to find out their package information instantly, including location and delivery date, as opposed to the old system which required calling a hotline and waiting to speak to a customer service representative.

In addition, Sheikh Bader expressed his gratitude to everyone who played a role in this achievement, saying that Bahrain Post is fully focused in its efforts towards enhancing its services in line with the Kingdom’s progress and growth.
