French stimulus package includes Eur 600m investment by La Poste

As part of the stimulus plan announced by the French PM François Fillon on 2 February, La Poste has agreed to invest an additional amount of Eur 600m in 2009.

As part of the stimulus plan announced by the French PM François Fillon on February 2, La Poste has agreed to invest an additional amount of Eur 600m in 2009.

More specifically:
– Eur 480 m will go towards the improvement of customer service (e.g., renovation of post offices in central and eastern France)
– Eur 120 m towards investment in sustainable technologies, e.g., photovoltaic power systems for large mail sorting centers.
