Egypt Post has launched new financial services at Cairo ICT 2009 Trade Fair and Forum.

The services, announced for the first time during the event, meet the needs of different social segments of a wide spectrum of Egypt Post customers.

Egyptian National Post Organization (ENPO) CEO Alaa Fahmy said three new services would be launched during Cairo ICT 2009. The first service is the availing of current accounts with a daily interest rate in US dollars and the Euro, offering investment volumes for companies and individuals in daily variable revenues.

The second, Hadiyati (My Gift) service, is a prepaid electronic card starting from LE 100($19.95)to LE 1,000($199.5) that people can use as a gift.

The third service is Mahfazti (My Wallet), a prepaid rechargeable card for purchasing goods from any stores accepting credit cards. Card holders can also withdraw cash from ATM machines. The service will be available for Egypt Post customers nationwide.

Meanwhile, Cairo ICT 2009 visitors can now know more about the comprehensive service provision model offered by Egypt Post through the one-stop-shop. This model has been put into force in several Egyptian governorates.

Each one-stop-shop outlet facilitates a set of services. For example, a single outlet provides saving accounts with a daily interest rate, immediate money orders, investment accounts, internet banking and saving accounts.

The model also offers governmental service for the public, playing a major role as a gateway for service provision. Services include family cards and pension cashing.
