Lynx denies take over talks

A furious Lynx has denied rumours that it is in takeover talks with Federal Express, the rumour surfaced in weekend press reports. Lynx Express, chief executive David Burtenshaw says the story is “absolutely without foundation”, adding the company’s turnover is far higher than the £120m quoted in press reports. Federal Express says: “We talk to companies in every country all the time.” He would not comment any further.
