DEUTSCHE POST APPOINTS NEW REGIONAL MANAGER OF ASIA PACIFIC

SYDNEY, April 9 Asia Pulse – Deutsche Post Global Mail, an internetional mail services company, has appointed Gordon Lang, head of Australia/New Zealand operations, as regional manager for the Asia Pacific.

Mr Lang will continue to be based in Sydney and manage the Australia/New Zealand business, and the appointment will effectively relocate the regional headquarters from Singapore to Australia, Deutsche Post said in a statement.

Managing director of Deutsche Post’s head office in Bonn, Germany, Donn Brooks, announced the appointment today, saying that Mr Lang’s main responsibility would be to build on the company’s market position in international mail services throughout Asia and Australia/New Zealand.

Deutsche Post services include database management and campaign consultancy. The company established offices in Sydney and Singapore in 1999 and Hong Kong in 2000.
