Not in? No problem

Home Delivery Access has begun a trial in Birmingham to combat the problem of what to do with home deliveries when theres no one home to collect. A customer can either choose an area located on their property to be made secure, ie a garage or utility room, they can have a specially fitted exterior box, or even a through the wall delivery unit which will be marketed to house builders. All of these options require an electronic keypad which is activated through the Delivery Point website. The customer then goes to this site to request an access code for each specific delivery which they can then pass on to the delivery driver.
