General Overnight managing director leaves the company
Ralf Hans Dierks, the managing director of GO! General Overnight Service GmbH, is leaving the company immediately at his own request.
Dierks joined the company in 2001 as the head of its finance and accounts department, before assuming the task of managing director in 2005. Michael Jäschke and Thomas Eichberger will temporarily lead the courier and express service provider.
The company transported more than 3.1 million express documents, parcels and freight shipments in 2008, this represents a 10% rise. It recently announced it had stable volumes in the first half of 2009, and expected moderate single-digit growth this year after several years of double-digit growth rates.
