Royal Mail’s Dargue quits role

Royal Mail CIO and technology director Robin Dargue is leaving the postal operator, it has been announced. Dargue joined Royal Mail in November 2007 from Diageo, but will leave to take up a new role with Alcatel-Lucent later this year.

A search is now underway to find his successor.

A Royal Mail Group spokesman said: “Robin has made a significant contribution to the group and we wish him well for the future. He is remaining with the company for up to six months to help with the transition to his successor.”
