TNT Express agrees labour deal with unions

A TNT Express Collective Labour Agreement has been agreed with several unions. The move follows the arrangements set out in the TNT Collective Labour Agreement (CLA) in March this year.

The TNT Express CLA has now been agreed with the trade unions Abvakabo FNV, BVPP, CNV Publieke Zaak and FNV Bondgenoten for the entities TNT Express Nederland B.V., TNT Express Road Network B.V, TNT Innight B.V. and TNT Head Office B.V.

The in-principle agreement has been presented to and approved by the union members.

The CLA will run from 1 April 2010 to 1 July 2011.

Employees will receive a structural wage increase of 0.5% from 1 April 2010, 0.5% from 1 October 2010 and 0.7% from 1 April 2011.

They will also be awarded a one-off gross payment of EUR 250. This CLA will apply to some 2,300 TNT employees in the Netherlands.
