Phillips appointed at KRATZER AUTOMATION

KRATZER AUTOMATION has appointed Peter Phillips as UK business solutions manager for its Logistics Automation division. Peter Phillips has many years experience in the industry, most recently as solutions consultant at Cognito. Formerly he was pre-sales manager and project manager at Descartes Systems for more than 10 years.

He will be headquartered in Nottingham, East Midlands

“KRATZER AUTOMATION has an extensive pre-sales and solution management expertise within its growing team and Peter’s appointment ensures that an experienced professional can oversee implementations with an in-depth knowledge of transport and logistics operators in this country and the particular needs of UK customers,” said David Burder, UK country manager. “Peter is exceptionally well-placed to ensure UK customers can implement our cadisTRANSPORT integrated transport management system swiftly and effectively, whichever of our wide range of mobile device partners like Motorola, Intermec and Honeywell they use.”

Founded in Germany in 1980, KRATZER AUTOMATION has developed from a three-person software team into a provider of Fleet and Transport Management Software with over 200 employees internationally.
