Test market results in planned expansion of franchise system for postal services (Indonesia)

PT POS Indonesia has prepared cooperation with a number of private companies to
establish franchise system in postal operation after a success in trial
operation in three cities – Jakarta, Surabaya and Semarang. The franchise
system is expected to improve efficiency in the operation of the company. The
5 month trial operation showed strong growth. In Jakarta it posted an income
of Rp 10 million in the first month and the amount surged to Rp 350 million by
the end of the five month operation. The state-owned postal company, which has
