Chile Express and UPS sort out an amicable strategy

United Parcel Service (UPS) and Chile Express have entered into an agreement that serves both parties. (8/13/2001)

The agreement will witness the Chilean company deliver all packages coming to Chile by UPS, except in Santiago, while UPS will deliver all of its packages leaving Chile through Chile Express.

Jorge Garcia, general manager of UPS in Chile, said that UPS bucked the modest 10 per cent growth registered by the courier industry in Chile to post a 25 per cent rise in business.
