POSTEN SELLS PROPERTIES WORTH NKR700M

Posten, the Norwegian post office, has sold 50 of its old post offices and buildings for NKr700m. Odd Reitan, the Norwegian entrepreneur, has acquired a building in Trondheim for NKr51m and 50 of the total 70 buildings and offices for sale have already been sold or sales agreed. According to Hans Edvardsen, head of Posten, the company is trying to sell the rest of the properties.

The sale of properties is a result of restructuring within the company and the post office has entered long-term renting agreements of many of the properties sold. These offices will house one of Posten’s new concepts, Posthandel, amongst other activities.
